Why is this?
What does it symbolise?
Do you think that writers and directors use the weather for dramatic effect?
Can you name some movies where this happens?
Ever notice how in the movies, couples ALWAYS kiss in the rain?! Why is this? What does it symbolise? Do you think that writers and directors use the weather for dramatic effect? Can you name some movies where this happens?

n my opinion, I think that in the movies, couples or lovers always kiss in the rain, as it adds a romantic scene to the movie. It gives the audience that butterfly feeling, as if it was them in the movie, well girls anyways.

I think that writers and directors use the weather for dramatic effect because it adds more suspense on to what is going to happen. I think they do this because it adds more power to the scene and kissing in the rain is more romantic which makes people feel the love of the two actors kissing. They use rain in the scenes were actors are kissing for more passion between them. An example were this happens in a movie in Dear John and high school musical 2.

I think they always kiss in the rain because of symbolism. It symbolises love.I think it symbolises passion. I think directors use weather to draw in the viewers attention. It is meant to be a dramatic event in the movie as we are usually waiting for the whole movie for it. This happens in the cindealla story and dear john.

The reason why the couples always kiss in the rain in movies and books is because it is romantic and it shows the passion. Thats what the writers and directors are looking for. To show how romatic it all is, and the writer or director is trying to do this for dramatic reasons, but because he does this helps them because then people like what they wrote or made..

In my opinion kissing in the rain is very romantic. It shows you’re love for somebody if u kiss them in the rain because you don’t care if you’re hair gets wet ha-ha. I think the directors do use the weather for dramatic effect because it is used in most romantic movies. It makes the scene a bit more charming. This happens in the movie Cinderella story, Spiderman, Dear John and High school musical.

It gives more effect to the scene in the movie and makes it more interesting for the viewers to watch. This happens in Dear John, A Cinderella Story, Spiderman, High School Musical 2.

I believe this is done in movies to emphasize the kiss. In my opinion, the rain, adds a significant amount of dramatic effect. Watching a kiss in the rain is beautiful. I believe it tells me that the couple are so in love they don’t care where it happens or how it happens as long as they express their feelings to each other.
