We prepared presentations about our recent cultural exchange to Spain (thanks to funding from Languages Connect) and our visit to the European Parliament in Strasbourg, France.
As a European Parliament Ambassador School, the Junior Ambassadors took their roles very seriously. They created beautiful artwork, posters and displays to celebrate European Youth Week. We used the fund provided by Leargas to create displays and purchase food and drink for our European Food Event.
We were delighted to be able to offer a European-themed lunch to our special visitor, MEP McGuinness together with our VP Ms Kirk and other members of staff and students. We were thrilled to hear Ms McGuinness talk to us about democracy, the need for compromise in today's world and the importance of the young voice in politics.
