Final check list for Action Project

We have spent the last term editing our Action Projects, which are due in very soon. As we only have CSPE once a week, it is very important that you are working away on your projects at home! Here are a few points to keep in mind...

Activities undertaken

Section 3 (b) 
- Focus is on the whole class
- List all of the committees and briefly mention their jobs 
- Don't forget to include the 'guest speaker' committee
- Neat layout - you have two pages to use up

Section 3 (c) 
- Focus is on you
- Describe one task that you undertook
- You should use the full page
- Your task should be unique to you
- Don't be modest - if you spoke in front of the class, write about it with pride

Section 3 (d)
- Describe how you applied two skills to this task. These may include:

creative... social... public speaking... mathematical... artistic... organisational... decision making... letter writing... computer... IT... negotiation... presentation... photography... planning... design... drawing... research... selection  

- Mention each skill under a separate heading

Section 4 - Summary of Information
- Give 5 pieces of information or facts that you learned during your project
- I learned that...
- I discovered that...
- I found out that...
- What information did you learn from our guest speaker?
- What information did you find out about democracy?
- Did you learn about proportional representation?
- What new facts did you come across?
- Use up the full page and make your points clear

Section 5 - Your own thoughts and experiences on the project
- You must discuss your feelings/ reflections/ thoughts on the experience
- Use the two pages - make four or five clear, separate points
- Skip a line between each point
- List of feelings:
