Andrew - Call of the Wild

Here is Andrew's excellent poem ;)

I journeyed to Africa on a research trip
With sweat dripping off my upper lip
I was in a small place in the Kenyan town
With the heat so bad I had the windows down
I heard a slight scream in the bushes ahead
I thought it was a person but it was a lion cub instead
He was very hurt and I saw a bone
So I picked him up and brought him home
He grew up from a little child
Then I released him into the wild

I liked the way Andrew made you picture of everything from the trip to Kenyan to the lion that was hurt and how he took care of it.

Wow! Awesome creativity. It seems someone has composed a interesting story into few words which can be expanded more and more.
Good job!

This is a very interesting blog. The poem written by Andrew was very innocent and cute. I think every kid should have his or her experience with the wild to truly understand and enjoy the beauty of the world we live in. thanks a lot for sharing this page.
