The play we are reading is called 'Our Day Out'. It is about a group of students who go on a school trip. In the comments section, I want you to write about a school trip that you have gone on.

My school trip I went on was Fort Lucan it was the best trip I ever went on. It was so fun there with all my mates. My favourite thing was on the trampolines and on the jump ropes. I think it was in 4th class. I would really like to go again because it was the best trip I ever went on. 5th class we went to the bog it was brilliant we got to play stuck in the mud at the end of the day we were all so dirty but it was a great laugh. The people that worked there also told us a few facts about that it use to be before the built it. In 6th class we went to aqua centre in Dublin it’s a water park. That was another good day with all my friends. In 1st year we didn’t go on one trip yet so hopefully we go on some fun trips in are 2nd year.

In my primary school we went on a class trip in 6th class we went to a climbing place in Dundalk. When we got there we had to get climbing gear on. Then we went into a big zip line tower were we had to get safety ropes on and jump off the side of the tower and zip lined across the field. When we had done that there were two obstacles on each side of the tower each side had a high one higher and lower ones one side was harder than the other so we had to chose witch one you wanted to go on. We didn’t have to do the obstacles but most of us did and we all had so much fun trying to complete it. Only two people fell off and had to try pull themselves up with the safety rope. It was difficult but we did it. There was four teams and we had to try get the best score on the obstacles so they were timing us as we did them and they would add up all the times up at the end and tell us witch team won in the obstacles. There was loads of actives for us to do at the start we were meant to compete against another school but they never came so they split all of us up into different groups of four. There was bowing arrows and we had to try hit the biggest score on them to get a high score. Our team didn’t do very well on them but we got more points when we did the wall climbing and we ended up coming second.
